As others said, having only 8 slots and making a strategy out of them is the core of gw.

I always thought 9 slots would have been better than 8.....NOT! That is basically what you are asking for here. 8 slots+1 for a res=9. Nah....

A resurrection skill is as much a skill as any other is. This would give people 9 skills on their skill bar.

One of the things that make GW interesting is that you can't have your cake and eat it too. As many RPG's it forces you to make choices, compromise between different 'powers'; when you make one aspect of your character stronger, something else becomes weaker.

It's perfectly fitting within that frame that you have to choose between bringing a rez, or bringing a stronger skill bar and a greater risk of loosing a match.
